UAV TECHNICIAN to support the assembly, maintenance, and field test activities of their UAVs. The ideal candidate will have experience working with UAVs or similar aerospace systems and possess strong technical skills.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assemble, install, and configure UAV systems and components according to engineering specifications and technical documentation during prototyping stages as well as production stages.
- Conduct pre-flight checks, system testing, and calibration procedures to ensure the functionality and performance of UAVs before deployment.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, cleaning, and lubrication of UAV components to prevent mechanical failures and ensure operational readiness.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including electrical, mechanical, and software problems, and implement corrective actions to restore UAV functionality.
- Repair or replace damaged or malfunctioning UAV parts, such as motors, propellers, sensors, and communication systems, using hand tools and specialized equipment.
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, and modifications performed on UAVs, including recording test results, component serial numbers, and maintenance history.
- Assist in the development of maintenance procedures, troubleshooting guides, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for UAV operations and maintenance.
- Collaborate with other team members, including engineers, pilots, and operations personnel, to support UAV missions and ensure operational success.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in UAV maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience of 4 years working with UAVs, drones, or aerospace systems is a must.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and test equipment for assembly, maintenance, and repair tasks.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, including wiring, connectors, and soldering techniques, is beneficial.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and drawings to troubleshoot and repair UAV systems and components.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately to ensure the safety and reliability of UAV operations.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work in varied environments, including indoor workshops, outdoor flight test sites, and potentially remote field locations.
